      1997-1998.       Associate producer of "The Morning Show" on WBIS television in New York City; followed by freelance work at CNN and Fox 5 local news. Screened video feeds, selecting shots and sound bites. Line-produced CNN updates, running show from control room. Wrote general news and business stories.

      1992-1996.       Reported for Dow Jones Markets, a 24-hour real-time financial news service. Wrote breaking news and feature stories. Promoted from copyreading position, where I edited the work of others, helped coordinate worldwide coverage of breaking news, and supervised New York night staff of four. Work appeared in the Wall Street Journal and the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition.

  •   2001-2004.   Copenhagen freelance: Theater and dance critic for the Copenhagen Post, the city's English-language going-out guide. Danish-language humor articles for BT, Denmark's largest tabloid. Copenhagen correspondent and city guide writer for RedHot, Virgin Airlines' onboard magazine.

      1997-2000.   New York City freelance: "Rear View Mirror," a New York City history column for the New York Daily News website. Dance writer and critic for Citysearch, an online guide, as well as America Online's Culturefinder. Ran a series of literary readings for writers working on the Internet.
