Client contact and project manager at Emerge, a Danish developer of interactive products for the web and for mobile phones; Araneum, a Copenhagen-based web house where I helped create a video Intranet for MTV Europe; and Bitflip Interactive Group, a small New York City agency providing websites and other new media tools for corporate and magazine clients.

Promoted from copyreading position, where I edited the work of others, helped coordinate worldwide coverage of breaking news, and supervised New York night staff of four. 	1995-present.		Text, images, design, and development of xmel.com. This website featuring my short stories and cartoons has been the subject of more than 50 news stories, including features in the New York Times and People. The site's Facebook fan page has nearly 350 fans.
	2001-present.		Copenhagen freelance writer. Travel writer for Fodor's Guides, Virgin Airlines' onboard magazine, and other publications. Freelance "sprøgvask" and Danish-to-English translation.
	1997-2000.		New York City freelance: "Rear View Mirror," a New York City history column for the New York Daily News website. Dance writer and critic for Citysearch, an online guide, as well as America Online's Culturefinder. Ran a series of literary readings for writers working on the Internet.

			New York University, BA Magna Cum Laude. Double major in Art & Architectural History and Newspaper Journalism, minor in German. Phi Beta Kappa. Internships and entry-level jobs at the Wall Street Journal Europe in Brussels; as a freelance writer in Berlin, Germany; and at the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong.
