Head of Media Operations at the KXM Group, a provider of English-language media services to the Danish market. Among its divisions are AmericanVoice.dk, which specializes in English-language voiceovers for corporate videos and eLearning, and PerfektEngelsk.dk, which offers translation, proofreading and text polishing.

	1998-1999.		New York creative team for primetime content at ABC.com, the ABC television network website. Sub-editor and headline writer for ABCnews.com.
	1997-1998.		Associate producer of "The Morning Show" on WBIS television in New York City; followed by freelance work at CNN and Fox 5 local news. Screened video feeds, selecting shots and sound bites. Line-produced CNN updates, running show from control room. Wrote general news and business stories.
	1992-1996.		Reported for Dow Jones Markets, a 24-hour real-time financial news service. Wrote breaking news and feature stories. Promoted from copyreading position, where I edited the work of others, helped coordinate worldwide coverage of breaking news, and supervised New York night staff of four. Work appeared in the Wall Street Journal and the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition.

	1995-present.		Text, images, design, and development of xmel.com. This website featuring my short stories and cartoons has been the subject of more than 50 news stories, including features in the New York Times and People.
	2001-present.		Copenhagen freelance: travel writer for Fodor's Guides, Virgin Airlines' onboard magazine, and other publications. Freelance Danish-to-English translation.
	1997-2000.		New York City freelance: "Rear View Mirror," a New York City history column for the New York Daily News website. Dance writer and critic for Citysearch, an online guide, as well as America Online's Culturefinder. Ran a series of literary readings for writers working on the Internet.

			New York University, BA Magna Cum Laude. Double major in Art & Architectural History and Newspaper Journalism, minor in German. Phi Beta Kappa. Internships and entry-level jobs at the Wall Street Journal Europe in Brussels; as a freelance writer in Berlin, Germany; and at the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. Currently attending communications strategy program at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Copenhagen. Speak fluent Danish and French, some Spanish and German.
