On a bicycle in a cocktail dress.

Copenhagen is a great town. In its coziness, charm, and sense of friendliness and intimacy, it's more like the town I grew up in - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin - than Wauwatosa is now.

I ride my bicycle everywhere, even home from parties at 5 am. This is actually a lovely experience - the city almost always has a light rain, in the summer the Northern sun is already on the horizon.

Of course, in the winter, there is no sun at all. The grey clouds lighten a bit around 9am, and then darken to black again before 4pm.

Perfectly sensible people - including me - have taken to using those dreadful ultraviolet sunbeds out of sheer greed for some light, any light.
