September is this site's third anniversary, which comes as I'm putting together my second website, at www.5georgewashingtons.com.
It's a site exclusively dedicated to my new novel, "Five George Washingtons, about the early days of the Internet industry in New York. The new site has color, and it's better designed than this one, partly because I've been working with some skilled HTML people during a temporary job at ABC.com.
In typical 90s fashion, I started doing publicity for the book before I'd even finished the first chapter.
Last month, Marie Claire magazine sent a
photographer named Fiorenzo over to my house to take photos of me in my workspace. I rather doubt that most models have to clean up the studio before their photo sessions, but no matter. The piece runs in the November issue.
